A standalone (locked) licence is tied to one computer and can only be used on that machine. A floating (network) licence is stored on a server and can be used concurrently on different network computers within the number of purchased seats. A floating licence is more flexible for a team of engineers.
Can an ANSYS licence be transferred to another computer?
Yes. A standalone licence can be transferred to another computer by deactivating it on the old machine and activating it on the new one through the ANSYS Licence Manager. Our engineers will assist with the transfer procedure.
What happens when an ANSYS licence expires?
After the licence term ends the software will stop launching. We notify clients in advance about upcoming renewals. We recommend renewing before expiry to avoid disruption to engineering work.
Does the licence include technical support?
Yes. All commercial and academic licences from CADFEM Ukraine include technical support. You can contact our certified engineers with installation, configuration, and software usage questions. Our team is English-speaking.
How much does an ANSYS licence cost in Ukraine?
The cost depends on licence type (Commercial, Academic), product set, number of seats, and licence term. Contact us for an individual commercial proposal — we will calculate the optimal configuration for your budget and engineering tasks.
Can I purchase a licence for a single ANSYS product only?
Yes. ANSYS offers modular licensing. You can purchase a licence for only the products you need — for example, only Ansys Fluent for CFD, or only Ansys Mechanical for structural FEA. Our specialist will help you select the optimal product set.
Are ANSYS licences available for cloud computing?
Yes. ANSYS supports cloud computing. Licences can be used on HPC clusters and cloud platforms. CADFEM Ukraine provides setup and support services for HPC and cloud ANSYS deployments.
