ANSYS Composite PrepPost –
CFRP & composite
structure analysis
ANSYS Composite PrepPost (ACP) is the ANSYS standard for designing and analysing fibre-reinforced composite structures – CFRP airframes, UAV structures, wind blades, rocket bodies, and sandwich panels. Ply-by-ply failure analysis with Tsai-Wu, Hashin, and Puck criteria. Official licensing and English-speaking composites engineering support in Ukraine.
Complete composite FEA — from layup definition to certified failure maps
ANSYS Composite PrepPost (ACP) is the dedicated composite structure analysis module within ANSYS Workbench. It consists of two components: ACP Pre — the pre-processor for defining ply orientations, thicknesses, fibre angles, and stacking sequences on the 3D FEA model; ACP Post — the post-processor that computes ply-by-ply failure analysis using the full range of composite failure criteria.
ACP is the mandatory tool for any serious composite structural certification in aerospace (CS-25/FAR-25), defense, and wind energy. It enables the level of detail — ply-by-ply Reserve Factor maps, delamination energy release rates, draping simulation — that standard ANSYS Mechanical cannot provide for composite laminates. CADFEM Ukraine provides official ACP licenses, English-language composites training, and FEA consulting for Ukrainian and international composite engineering companies.
Where ANSYS ACP is applied
From UAV CFRP airframes to wind turbine blades and racing yacht hulls — ACP is the tool for every composite structure that needs certified analysis
ACP Pre → Mechanical → ACP Post → Optimisation
